find here my Referer Spam blocker. Just add it to your .htaccess file and many illegal referers will be blocked.
Those spammers will mess-up your stats and referer listings and are not actually real hits, but zombies. Use it if you need it. If you have addons: mail me.

If you run the server yourself, it’s smarter (and much less load on the server) if you include it in httpd.conf. For example like I do with this:
