this version is only interesting for those who want to play with NFS …
1. support NFS (experimental)
Support for NFS shares is added through the iMEDIA menu button
Add a new station: give it a name and enter for the address
nfs://ip-address:/path
for example when using CH3SNAS with NFS you can enter nfs://192.168.1.20:/mnt/HD_a2
when pressing ok you will notice that the ICON is still a blue circle, go out of this menu and go to the main menu or ie. setup menu. Re-enter the iMedia folder and the blue circle is changed into a folder. When entering this folder the actually mount of the NFS share is being executed
and you can access the NFS shares you have created in your exports file.sidenote: if the icon has changed in a folder through the BGM button you can only edit the title, if you need to change the path, you have to enter a new station. If the icon is still the blue circle you can edit all through the BGM button
this feature is experimental and we are checking how to make it more userfriendly. But hey .. NFS itself is not really userfriendly ;-) its for linux geeks only, no linux box/nas no NFS
2. remove PowerOff warning/error message
3. fix small avi ( ~10M ) segmenataion fault issue from NAS

May 16, 2008 Was het eerder deze week de grote DSL (ATM) storing van het KPN (Bitstream) netwerk, zo hebben ze net aan het eind van de week alle abonnees een feestelijke mailing toegestuurd waarbij de abonnees oa. een T-Shirt kunnen aanvragen met een code die bovenaan het adresveld vermeld staat.
Net als ik zijn er honderden, zo niet duizenden abonnees (ik ben al jaren lid sinds het UUCP tijdperk) weer de dupe dat deze ‘unieke’ code niet zo uniek blijkt te zijn als dat het zou moeten.
Gezien de usenet group: xs4all.general ben ik niet de enige
XS4ALL, vertellen dat elk lid een leuk kadoo krijgt en je met deze ongein opzadelen is niet leuk!

The released / shipping firmware is 1.08.04 but development did not stop. Through the Internet Upgrade users can already upgrade the device to 1.08.09

1.04RC1, if we get positive comments it will be released
Release notes:
We added/modified support for users and groups. The following does apply:
under samba, user can see “ALL” folders which he has the right to access.
under ftp, user only can see “the last mentioned” folder which he has the right to access.
Please test and send me updates about the instant update of the UPnP Database, there is no refresh or crontab anymore as content is instantly updated. But I need feedback if this is working properly.

May 14, 2008 Finally one of the DSL lines we have at work, are operational again. One of our lines is XS4ALL ADSL ONLY and was not operational for more than 24 hours.. WOW .. what an outtage here in Holland

May 13, 2008 Als je dit kan lezen, dan betekent het zoveel dat mijn xs4all ADSL verbinding in de lucht is.
Neen, ik heb nog steeds niet gekozen voor de XS4ALL only variant, want dat heeft zich nog steeds niet als stabiel platform voor mij bewezen.
Heel nederland ligt zowat down, maar ik niet ;-)

May 8, 2008 Zit ik vanavond in m’n auto terug te rijden naar huis, krijg ik een SMS. Nu gebeurt dat niet zo vaak meer dat ik een SMS krijg, dus dan ben ik wel benieuwd wie mij dan wel een SMS stuurt:
Het is gelukt, je bericht is verstuurd! Veel plezier met de chat! Kosten 1.50E/bericht max 2. Stoppen? Stuur STOP naar 7880
Nog geen 2 minuten later:
Hi Wat leuk dat je reageert, had ik niet verwacht zo snel al! Doe je dit vaker? Is mijn eerste keer en ik vind het wel leuk moet ik zeggen, woon je in de buurt?
Een uur later: (het derde bericht dus)
Hey, volgens mij woon ik vlak bij jou… vertel eens iets over jezelf. en heb je al leuke plannen voor komend weekend? (Gratis sms, mobdesk.com)
Morgen onze servicedesk maar eens op de hoogte stellen, want ik ben hier natuurlijk op een zakelijke GSM niet van gediend. Denk maar niet dat ik iets ga sturen, afmelden of wat dan ook! Stelletje oplichters daar bij wie het dan ook maar mag zijn ..
Hebben anderen wellicht een idee?

May 5, 2008 Ergens in 2007 vroeg ik mij af waarom een ‘groot’ weblog (meer dan dat) wel een blote tiet kan laten zien met adsense advertenties en een klein blog meteen een waarschuwing krijgt dat de google-id ingetrokken gaat worden? Inmiddels een jaar later (meer dan dat), Marcella nog steeds met blote borsten met google-ads zichtbaar en natuurlijk nog meer content.
Dus eigenlijk een open vraag aan het nederlandse Google Adsense team. Wat maakt dit weblog anders dan een andere site?
Niet dat ik een antwoord verwacht, maar het zou eens mooi zijn om hier wat meer inzicht in te krijgen.
