Due to limited flash memory in CFULLHDMA some features cannot be implemented. As Flash for CFULLDHMAi is bigger some features will only be available for CFULLHDMAi.

note: it could be possible that the USBÂ upgrade seems to stall just before the screen blanks (5 second interval)
if the screen stalls (so it will not turn to the screen where the actuall progress is seen) it is probably due to the fact that some services like the UPnP server cannot be stopped. Please disconnect the LAN cable, restart the CFULLHDMA(i) and upgrade again.
The procedure for upgrading is:
the device will first load the whole firmware from USB disk into memory. Than all services will be stopped, TV screen will be turned off (no signal), than TV screen will be turned on again and the upgrade will start.
do not turn off the power during the 2nd sequence. Cause than you will brick your device.

lees ik vandaag op een forum (tweakers) dat de fan van de CH3SNAS veel beter aanschreven wordt als de fan van de CH3MNAS ..
Gelukkig bezit ik natuurlijk de CH3MNAS en de Ch3SNAS .. en kan ik een fotootje maken. Zoek de verschillen zou ik zeggen.
Exact dezelfde type fans .. Dus als er een fan zou ‘janken’ lijkt het mij exemplarisch … Daarnaast gaat de fan ook uit als de temperatuur dat toelaat en/of de HDD’s in ruststand zijn.

today I am releasing usb-storage.ko, the driver to be able to mount a USB disk connected to the USB port of the Conceptronic CH3MNAS
copy the usb-storage.ko.zip to the disk for instance directly to Volume_1
unpak under telnet/ssh with unzip the file with the command:
unzip usb-storage.ko.zip
after unzipping the file, copy the file usb-storage.ko to/ffp/lib/modules/[kernel-version]
with uname -r you can determine the kernel version, this is necessary as the start-usbdisk.sh file makes use of the kernel folder
for the CH3MNAS this will be /ffp/lib/modules/2.6.22.7Â (probably you have to create the folder modules and the 2.6.22.7Â folder.
command for copying the file, go to the folder where you unpacked the zip file and use the following command to copy the file:Â
cp usb-storage.ko /ffp/lib/modules/2.6.22.7/usb-storage.ko
copy from /ffp/etc/examples the file start-usbdisk.sh to /ffp/start/start-usbdisk.sh
cd /ffp/start
chmod 755 start-usbdisk.sh
the chmod 755 will make the start-usbdisk.sh file executable and auto-started after reboot.
please make sure that in the file  start-usbdisk.sh the usbdisk_dev points to the correct /dev/sdc1 location (/dev/sdb1 probably does not work) you can check this with the tool dmesg where the usb disk info is diplayed
than use the command:Â
sh start-usbdisk.sh start
and the usb disk will be mounted. Enjoy !
Last weekend HDlandblog posted some new Yuixx screens after the Yuixx had been demonstrated at an exhibition in France.

Iedereen die deze site volgt weet dat ik vaak dingen schrijf over producten en/of ontwikkelingen waarmee ik dagelijks in aanraking kom tijdens mijn kantoortijden…. Dus zo ook over de Yuixx.
Helaas kan ik niet altijd alles op de site schrijven omdat dingen tijdens ontwikkeling bijvoorbeeld wijzigen.
De afgelopen tijd heb je op deze site niet zoveel Yuixx nieuws gelezen: ik was op vakantie en veel Yuixx nieuws kon men lezen op verschillende nieuws sites. Zo heeft Tonie van Ringelestijn een stuk geschreven [big-jpg] voor de kranten van Wegener (oa. de Stentor). En schrijft ook Erwin Boogert gisteren een stuk op Emerce.nl over de applicatie van de NOS die uitzending gemist naar de TV brengt en waar de Yuixx ook in genoemd wordt.
Blijf deze site volgen want ik ga echt wel nieuw nieuws over de Yuixx hier melden. Echter dat zal eerder op technisch /functioneel vlak zijn zoals ik doe voor de CH3SNAS, CH3MNAS, CFULLHDMA(i) etc..
Damn, nu wilde ik de impact zien van de sonde op de Maan…. dus in 3 minuten voor alle CFULLHDMA(i) bezitters maar gauw even de Journaal24 stream beschikbaar gemaakt in ‘Conceptronic recommends’ …
Nu je dit leest denk je: da’s lekker nu pas melden .. Yep .. klopt, maar …. NOS Journaal 24 staat er nu wel ’standaard’Â als optie in de lijst. Hef Fun!
