Are non-interleaved movies supported?
Non-Interleaved Movie files are NOT supported. We received a file called: ‘Superhero.Movie.DVDRip.XviD.AC3.iNT-DEViSE.cd2.avi’
The reason is that Sigma Designs (chipset) does not support Non-interleaved movies. Therefore the file is not playable.

If you have issues and want to share them with me: upload your content to my FTP server. Create a folder and put there the file including a text file with the issue (English language please)

You can upload, resume etc.. but you cannot download .. so do not bother trying (but you will). If this FTP ability is successful I will keep using it, otherwise I will close the FTP again.

Schakel eens de QoS in de router uit, hang er een andere router aan. Ik lees meer problemen over die router van Sitecom. het kan zijn dat er wat mis gaat met signalering van deze router richting CFULLDHMA

Volgende zaken getest:
- CFULLHDMA rechtstreeks aan het kabelmodem gehangen; dat werkt prima. Hij krijgt keurig een IP adres en heeft internet verbinding.
- SiteCom router vervangen door de belkin F5D7230-4 van de buren.. Ook daar krijgt de CFULLHDMA netjes verbinding
Bevestigt dus jouw vermoeden dat de router hier wel eens de oorzaak kan zijn (en niet de CFULLHDMA de andere hardware).
- Vervolgens met de routerinstellingen lopen stoeien:
– QOS uitgezet: “WAN traffic shaping” (streamengine): geen verandering
– WISH uitgezet (tegen beter weten in; wireless stond al uit): geen verandering
– SPI uitgezet in de firewall: geen verandering
– TCP/UDP end point filtering uitgezet: Geen verandering
– multicast streams uitgezet: geen verandering
Er zijn zoveel settings en ik ben niet echt een superexpert. Iemand nog tips of tricks on how to proceed?

- Conceptronic CCFULLHDMA Firmware 1.17.22.06
In beide gevallen gaat het om de laatste (gepubliceerde) versie.
probeer eens een andere firmware voor de WL-308 gewoon om te zien of het fw gerelateerd is ja dan te nee.

Testen die ik nu heb uitgevoerd:
- WL-308 Gaming Router Firmware 2.1 (zowel “gewoon” als na uitzetten QOS
- WL-308 Gaming Router Original Firmware (dito)
In beide gevallen bleef het probleem bestaan: als ik de cfulhdma aanzet gaat hij booten; het gele netwerk lampje knippert een paar seconden en daarna gaat het lampje uit en het scherm op zwart.
Daarna was ik het zo zat dat ik een nieuwe router heb gekocht: Linksys WRT610. En nu komt het: de cfullhdma vertoont ook met deze router hetzelfde gedrag (zowel met als zonder qos).
Toen voor de zekerheid nog een keertje (met dezelfde kabel) rechtstreeks aan het kabelmodem gehangen en ja hoor; dat functioneert dan weer wel (al vind ik het vreemd dat alleen het gele netwerklampje knippert en niet het groene …?…!). Youtube filmpjes probleemloos af te spelen.
|Ik begin nu toch aan een hardware probleem te denken.

I want to buy a CFULLHDMAI but first I have a few questions. I have a small network with one server and three to four clients, all running Windows. The server is running Microsoft Windows Home Server. There is an add-on called LightsOut to start the home server if at least one client is online and to shutting down the server if no more clients are online.
- At startup of CFULLHDMI a broadcast has to be send to my server.
- A kind of trigger has to be send in a range of 1 to 10 minutes to keep the server running.
I need access to the CFULLHDMAI by using telnet (etc.) and develop a small shell script running on the CFULLHDMAI to manage my requirements. Is this possible?

Hi all!!
Im a owner of the CFULLHDMA (without the i). But i have serious problems to get it working @ vista ultimate. I have 2 pc’s with this installed. I shared different discs, with everyone access, the pc’s can read the share’s without any problems. But when i try to access it with my CFULLHDMA he can see the pc name. but when i try to access it it says that it cant fine any. i downloaded the newest firmware, but also the older version didn’t work. So i cant use my CFULLHDMA right now..
What can i try out more ????? When i use any software like TVersity i can see it 5 seconds and disapears then. I turnd also my firewall *and antivirus* off.. but makes no difference. When i use an usb harddisk it works fine (direct connected tot the CFULLHDMA)

I’m a bit frustrated. Everything works with this player for except subtitles. I have tried .sub files and .srt files but none of them play. When I hit the SUB/CH+ button the the remote it only ever says OFF on the tv screen. How do I turn subs on? Do I have to turn them on or should they play immediately with the xvid? The are not playing automatically at the moment when I start an xvid. I have this player some months and can’t figure it out. Even on my cheapy player that I used before the conceptronics sub files worked automatically. The subs are named correctly. The same name as the xvid name with extension .sub or .srt.
Thanks to anyone that can help me solve this.
P.S. I just tried playing the sub files with the xvid in windows media player and the subtitles show just fine *sigh* :(

I have the following problem:
Everything was working fine for a while, but one day (a few days ago)
when i turned on the device it was not showing anything not even the splash screen with the logo etc.. I thought it was not in the correct output so i tried that but nothing worked…Then i disconnected the power and all the other cables (hdmi, network, audio) waited a few seconds… The device felt very hot on the outside aswell btw…but thats is not something out of th ordinairy i initialy thought..
reconnected it to the power and restarted. Still nothing…I connected a simple video (yellow-red-white) cable and after some restarts it showed the plash screen again…but right after that the screen just turned green? and nothing else.
I also cheked to see if the screen was not faulty and tried the tv that worked fine.
Is this the end of my CfullHDMA???
I tried all sorts of things but only a green screen is presented…
The only command it responces to is the on/off button on my remote and on the back of the device.
Anybody any ideas how to reset it to factory defaults without the gui??
Or should i go back to the store with it???

When connecting an external USB hard drive to the CFULLHDMAi the hard drive keeps on spinning even when I’m not using it. Is it possible to put a hard drive in spin down mode when using a USB connection ? Is this something the CFULLHDMAi could handle ?

You have to change the streaming software you are using. I also had this problem while streaming, I used the Twonky streaming software. When i switched to the Conceptronic media server software I could select the .srt subtitles on the CFULLHDMA. Hope this helps.
Heb enige maanden de CFULLHDMA en ben zeer tevreden over de beeld en geluidkwaliteit en de vele netwerkmogelijkheden.
Wat me vandaag opviel was dat ik wanneer ik meerdere externe schijven aan de USB poort hang met een hub er slechts 1 benaderbaar is via de Samba server. Waarom krijg ik geen toegang vanaf andere PC’s tot de andere schijven?

@pascal, cfullhdmai has samba functions so it could be that due to this the samba connection with ch3snas keeps active as well
there is no way from the cfullhdmai to control another kind of hardware.
I don’t manage to see more than 1 HDD connected with USB hub to the CFULLHDMAI through my LAN network.
How to solve?

@rob, the cfullhdmai is only able to make 1 HDD available to be shared through the CFULLHDMAi
and that is already a bonus as the CFULLHDMAi is original a player and not a NAS, but it can make your life a little easier to copy data to for playback.
ok Dennis thank’s than I will not search further to ’solve it’.
I explored that you can work with it by switching on the HDD you will share and leave the other’s temporary off.
Do you kwow if it’s a goal to make the CFULLHDMAI able to play TP0 files in the future? That would give a perfect senegy with a lot of Sat. and Cablereceivers.
Now I have to convert files before CF…. can play it.
I noticed that during playing an ogg audio file, the tags of that file are not shown on the CFULLHDMA. All tags show “unknown”. For MP3 and flac audio files these tags are shown. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
I use an NFS share to access the file.
Spin down of the HD works on my CFULLHDMA with the WD “My Book” 1 TB HD.
I update my CFULLHDMA through the Internet update. This works fine. However I see thay I have a different firmware version (1.17.53.09) than published on the Conceptronic website.
Two questions:
1. Does anyone where the updates come from? Are these also the BETA versions?
2. Where can I download the BETA firmware?
I got this nastly flicker and want to get the latest fix.

3. Beta versions are only provided to beta testers if you add yourself to the beta testers mailinglist
hello dennis , i write from italy, sorry my english…
with the latest fw while watching a movie .mkv functionality on a hdd (D-Link dns313) every 5 to 10 minutes is blocked for about 10 seconds …. then he goes, before the fw with option 1 Gb had never done I have no network to 1 GB and I haven’t activated this option.

Robbyx, you can use other firmware, but you can also change the setting back to 1GB. we moved to 100MBit for better stability and less heath.
hi dennis, fw v01.19.02 is a “disaster”!
such as audio works only DTS and DD: film mono, stereo, dolbysorround, DS2, and all MP3 music does not sound …!!!!
also when I switch from TV (HDMI) to projectors (component) crashes everything. first let in HDMI and component was also on the projector.

robbyx, wauw .. I advise you to return to another fw version. and 1.19.02 is beta and you are the first reporting this kind of issues. Nobody else reported it yet.
So or try to re-update or downgrade

sinds januari 2009 in het bezit van de cdfullhdma. Leuk apparaat, ware het niet dat na ongeveer 20 minuten alles stil valt. Met geen mogelijkheid weer aan de praat te krijgen, alleen door de stroom er af te halen en er weer op te zetten. En na 20 minuten of soms nog sneller, weer het zelfde. Enig idee waar dit aan kan liggen?
Heb op dit moment de laatste firmware erop zitten.

timo, ten tijde van het afspelen zou de cfulhdma(i) niet uit mogen vallen welke firmware gebruik je? we hebben een functie waarin de snelheid van 1GB naar 100MB/ omgezet kan worden qua snelheid, wat de werking van het apparaat kan verbeteren, als dat niet een oplossing is dan weet ik helaas niet 1-2-3 wat de reden kan zijn.

I did the update to the latest beta firmware and i don’t regret it….
Well, thanx to Dennis the Conceptronic MediaPlayer is still great to use.
And it makes a difference to switch it back to the 100mb standard !
I can’t say much about the 67 audio standards i am using only stereo audio.
Better a damn good stereo than a crappy 14 channel who-knows-what.
There will always be one or more video files that can’t be played with
the Conceptronic. But it does a good job !

I have bought a CFULLHDAMI, and very happy with it. I wanne test the BETa’s as well if possible. I’m running 1:17:53 at the moment. I only have problems with iMedia stuff (no Youtube movies will play and the HWI stream doesn’t work as well. Slideshow hangs if you try to stop it.
I already registerd on the forum, but can’t find a spot where i can download the beta firmware’s

PS Ik heb inmiddels opgegeven voor beta tester. (ik was ff blind als een paard, stond gewoon boven aan de pagina lol)
ik heb twee keer de fw v01.19.02 uitgeprobeerd en factory reset gedaan.
alles opnieuw ingesteld, 100 of 1000 lan geprobeerd maar met deze firmware blijft de cfullhdmai opnieuw opstarten bij het starten van een willekeurige film.
Ben weer terug bij fw 1.18 en geen problemen meer.

bought this nice device last week and very satisfied with streaming normal dvds.
but I have the same problems as vanbrug. Slideshows crash (although only when i press back if i press stop it seems more stable). i downloaded a MKV file but it isn’t recognized and also youtube doesn’t work.
i’ll sign up for the beta aswell :)

One issue with firmware v01.19.02
When playing a DVD from ch3snas with multiple titles on disk (like aspe)
the 1st episode (consist of 4 parts) is played good.
the 2nd episode (consist of 4 parts) after the 1st part the movie holds on pause and only able to play is go directly to part 2 of 2nd episode

WITH CFULLHDMAI, I uses both video outputs: HDMI FOR LCD AND COMPONENT FOR VIDEO PROJECTOR
Chances are always set to HDMAI, video output, WHEN USING THE VIDEO PROJECTOR IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE SIGNAL COMPONENT WITHOUT HAVING TO CHANGE THE SETUP ALL THE TIME? In earlier versions of FW was possible.

Hey Dennis,
officiële firmware (vrijdag gedownload) voor cfullhdma geeft problemen wanneer ik op de terug toets druk tijdens het kijken naar een MKV bestand(andere bestanden nog niet getest).
de film stopt en dan een zwart scherm, enige oplossing, toestel afzetten en terug opzetten (via afstandsbediening).
je kan de firmware downloaden via internet. zou handig zijn indien dit ook een shared map kon.

Heb de laatste officiele fw gedownload(v01.19.02.06.21.) maar als ik een hogere beta fw erop wil zetten, krijg zegt ie dat het mislukt is. Heb verschillende geprobeerd, maar kom niet hoger dan v01.19.02.06.21. Iemand een idee.
En ik heb een paar audio cd`s met dts spoor op mijn cfulhdma staan. Voorheen draaiden ze prima, maar krijg nu alleen maar ruis. Iemand hier een oplossing voor? Alvast bedankt.

Is al eerder door iemand gevraagd, maar nooit beantwoord: komt er een firmware update waardoor je ook met nzb’s direct via de CFULLHDMAi kunt downloaden? Of kan ie het gewoonweg niet aan ivm met geheugen en verwerkingscapaciteit?
martin: nee dat komt er niet. Processor is gewoonweg niet krachtig genoeg

hai Dennis,als ik een film afspeel met ac3 of dts heb ik af en toe een sound hikup.wat kan ik hier aan doen??

ik lees het wel vaker, maar het valt niet te reproduceren vooralsnog
Dennis, maakt niet uit welke film maar meestal zijn het VOB files. geluid staat ingesteld op spdif-raw, heb een digitale versterker van jvc 5.1 en staat aangesloten met een coaxiale kabel op de player. heb wel eens geprobeerd met instelling op pcm, dan heb ik geluid via de tv en de versterker als er dan zon hik komt valt alleen de versterker een seconde weg maar geluid via de tv blijft.
