linux logfiles home-access

At my homeserver I have 1 logfile: home-access, this file is removed every hour. But I want to create multiple files for every domain hosted. But how the hell can I add these files by CRON that they are removed again? or rotatated?

any linux geek here?

    Hmm ik snap niet precies wat je bedoelt, maar in linux (Redhat e.a.) zit een daemon of script wat alle logs rotate (genaamd ‘logrotate’).. En ik neem aan dat je de config file hiervan kan wijzigen zodat je ook zelf logs kunt instellen die gerotate moeten worden.
    Kijk evt. of het geinstalleerd is op je systeem (in geval van redhat: ‘rpm -qa | grep rotate’
