Geek Stuff: Bandwidth Limitation with a Sun Qube3 and Apache

My webserver (a Qube3) sometimes consumes all bandwidth available. This server is connected to a home DSL line: 4Mbps down, 786Kbps up. When someone is downloading a big file from my server all bandwidth is consumed.

Today I installed mod_bandwidth for apache on my Qube3 to add bandwidth limitation to certain folders and it’s working!

For more info and documentation I put it in my scripts folder under bandwidth. Enjoy
