Centos, Grub, SoftRaid, a USB HDD, FSTAB en ‘unregistering netfilter hooks’ with bluequartz

Caramba ..
any idea how to mount and keep it mounted by a reboot?

I added the USB HDD with mount /dev/sda1 to /mnt/backjup

than I added
/dev/sda1 /mnt/backup ext2 defaults 1 2
in /etc/fstab
but that stops the system booting at ‘unregistering netfilter hooks’

anyone an idea?
